Middle School

(12-13-Year-Old)

MIDDLE SCHOOL DIRECTOR OF INSTRUCTION

The Middle School Years (The Twelve and Thirteen Year Old Classes) are a crucial transitional phase to prepare students for Secondary School.  Middle School students take their first steps into advanced math and critical reading and writing, and work hard on their study skills and independent endeavor to build a foundation for further studies.

Matthew Yoder

Secondary Director of Instruction

The social and academic needs of the 12-13-year-old students are met through a program of Mathematics, Reading, Writing, Speaking, Science, Cultural Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Information Technology. Korean, French, German, Spanish and Slovak are taught as Foreign and Native Languages. Intensive English instruction is available. Qualified students may enroll in Secondary classes.  The counseling program prepares students for the Secondary program.  Students participate in Student Government, after school activities, sports, and social events.
